In 2007 after a good while and much water under the bridge we finished our first album, Moths. You can see the wonderful artwork by Gary Gleavey (Zen Baseballbat) as the background on this page. Moths was a chance for us to put our stamp on an adventure that started back in 2002 when my previous band "Fat Shaft" called it a day, a full reunion could never happen but personally I hope to see tudor fingers again soon if he ever gets his arse back from Oz. 13amp v1 was made up of ex Fatshaft drummer Mike Wilkinson, guitar God Jon Lord and my best friend and ever ready rock Mark Kiveal. Mark stayed with us into 13amp V2 but sadly died in 2005 after a tragic accident. We all miss him but continued the band as a show of unity so that marks and our own endevours to that date were not in vain. We'd worked bloody hard. 13amp V3 now included Mark Crinigan who had come on board when Mike left and on bass my longstanding cohort Mark Walker. I made my first recording with Mr Walker back in 92 if the memory's right. I've been doing this ever since. This year felt pretty tough after more of the same gigs and radio refusing to go wild for Moths, not to mention a room full of CDs so off we go for a break but surely to return to the tight knit and loyal folk of Newton Le Willows. Like LGM we shall rise from the ashes again aptly with a record called Fire Fire Fire (no relation). In the meantime I've uploaded 2 acoustic songs recorded again with Mr Walker. The songs could never be described as 13amp songs but strumming an acoustic is about all I can muster at the moment. If you've seen me and the hairy one play recently I hope you found us entertaining. There'll be more of the same coming up and I'll upload whatever songs I get around to recording. All the best for the New Year and if you're a label and want to put out our album give us a shout.
