13 Curves

13Curves is a rock band from Los Angeles, California that features three experienced and talented musicians who have backed up many international superstars. They are now delivering their own high energy, rock and roll music to the LA music scene.

The group is fronted by lead singer and guitarist Ben Mauro, who spent his early years playing in the rock clubs of New York City and New Jersey. Oscar Seaton, from Chicago, Illinois, is the band's powerhouse drummer. His early experience there found him playing with many top gospel and jazz artists, and has put him very much in demand as both a studio and live musician in Los Angeles.

Ben and Oscar have done several world tours together with Lionel Richie, playing before hundreds of thousands of people on every continent. Ben also played in the initial American Idol tour with Kelly Clarkson, the Black Onyx tour with Britney Spears, and has appeared with Christina Aguilera and Toni Braxton. Oscar has also toured extensively with George Benson, Queen Latifa, Grover Washington Jr., Boz Scaggs and Lee Ritenour, as well as playing on numerous albums for various artists.

Gary "Scruff" Davenport is band's killer bass player. Before moving to Los Angeles, he made his mark as a top session and live player in the legendary music city of Memphis, Tennessee.

Together this eclectic mix of influences brings a fresh and unique sound to their brand of rock and roll. Live performances have earned 13Curves a reputation as a dynamic live act with great songs. "Underground," the band's debut album, was written and produced entirely by the members of 13Curves.
