13 Scotland Road is the brainchild of Bill Binford, guitar player, singer and writer of all the original material of the band. Bill sets the tone for the 13 Scotland Road's music and thus also put the band tother.
Aaron Seglin is the main vocalist but also contributes his technical training on a host of unique instruments uncommon to American music, such as the wooden flute, tin whistle, harmonica, spoons... the list goes on and on!
Richard Lee plays everything but a traditional set of drums and employs his wide-ranging experience in Jazz, rock, funk, and ethnic musics to lay down the percussive foundation for the music.
Bass player James Odum - aka "the Greek" - is not just another rhythm element and adds yet another dimension to the music with a fretless electric bass and untraditional, yet grooving, style.
Bill's compositions and brilliant guitar styling, Aaron's special vocals and instrumentation, Richard's hip "organic" percussive style, and The Greek's bass phrasing create the folk, rock and blues sound of 13 Scotland Road. The music is inspirational and heartfelt, telling the story of every day life.......sadness, love and ultimate happiness.
