Mostly movie soundtracks, but also, 80's metal, 70's rock, disco and Brian Atene.
Movies
All of them. Seriously, ALL of them...but in particular anything starring Brian Atene.
Television
I watch way too much T.V., but re-runs of CHEERS are little gifts from the Gods for which I will always be thankful. And on YouTube, anything starring Brian Atene.
Books
I like books as well, particularly those by Stephen King and Brian Atene.
Heroes
George A. Romero - For his many years of artistic independence.
John Carpenter - For his amazing range of talents (writing/music/editing)and fantastic early directorial style.
Muhammad Ali - Not for his boxing as much as for his courage to stand and live by his personal convictions in his life, religion and political views, no matter the costs. Truly one of a kind.
Chas. Balun - horror journalist. He liked to tell it like it is, and when no one else would step up and put his work out there, he published it himself. Kind of an indie-film critic.
My granddad Joe E. Montgomery - For being "old time tough" and a good example of man who takes care of his own.
My grandpa Max Jonker and my grandma Elsie Jonker - both for being a rock in my life and good examples of good people.
Any and all fellow aspiring, independent filmmakers and artists who never EVER give up on their dreams. INDIE-STRUCTABLE ARTISTS UNITE!
(Note: Regarding my grandparents listed above, honestly, I wish I was half as strong as my grandma Elsie and half the man that my grandfathers Joe and Max both were. Hell, for that matter, I wish I were half the man Elsie was! Old time tough, the lot of them. Thanks for everything.)

Who I'd like to meet: Any and all motion-picture artists/personel including but not limited to: Writers, actors, cinematographers, make-up artists, special make-up FX artists, location sound-people, sound designers/engineers, costumers, art directors, storyboard artists, editors, other directors and frankly, honestly, most of all, film producers and/or potential film investors.
Beyond that, I'm just a full-tilt movie fan (with a particularly all-consuming love for the horror genre) so I'd like to meet other film fanatics who aren't ashamed to unabashedly geek-out over any and all flicks. If you're in Wichita and want to get some coffee and discuss movies, drop me a line! (To clarify: I'm happily married and am not looking for a date here, just fellow film-geeks who like talking movies.)
Hello Mr Jonker! I am sure your page said you were 39 yesterday when I sent you the friend request! If it's your birthday today, happy birthday! I love Darkness by the way, downloaded it in 2004 when it was practically unobtainable, and snapped up The Vampire Version from Amazon as soon as it was out! Should I ever make an indie horror film with friends, Darkness would be the first film I'd make them watch for inspiration.

Yeah, I know. I suck at maintaining the bloggy blog. I'm hanging in there, hope you are well. I've been SUPER sickly, but am finally starting to heal. Hope to see you soon! Hugs and love:)
