We are a group of strategy board gamers that meets on the second Saturday of each month in Indianapolis, Indiana. We play a variety of games from short-quick types to the longer more in depth games. We usually have about 5-10 people come each month; with many more than that on the invitation list. We usually play from 1pm-11pm each time we meet, but you are more than welcome to come for just one game or the whole time.
This all got started in the fall of 2004 when Adam Daulton and Ed O’Connor became roommates in their senior year at Vennard College in Iowa. They realized that they both enjoyed playing games and so began to play some together. In January of 2005 they began a regular meeting twice a month, which by January of 2007 had 12-15 gamers coming nightly.
Adam moved with his wife Krista to Indiana in January 2007, where they started a second chapter of the 13th Tribe. By May 2007, after over 80 different people attending at least on game night, the Iowa meeting faded away. The tradition is continued in Indy, where many different games are played, but more importantly new friends are made and a great time is had!
