Do I really need to type the rest out? It looks pretty plain to me. ;)
Seriously though, yet again... it's Jeff Hyde writing yet another note. Even though it's just past noon I'm pretty worn out and am still trying to figure out what to type here. Updates?
Well we're playing at The Coktown Pub on February 13th! I'm sure most of you reading this know it because it's posted up there in the events area and we keep posting up a status change with the info. Just to clarify the doors open at 8:00 pm and it's $10 at the door. You have to state you're coming to see us (13Wyde!) and then enjoy yourself! Of course the event is 19+ only. We don't have an exact time confirmation of when we actually go on, but ask us the day/night of and we will update you because that's when we find out.
In other news... Mark Gemmell left! In further news... Mark Gemmell came back! Lol. What else, you might ask? Well I guess I can talk about myself for once.
I had the pleasure of bringing a new 8x10 150 lb cabinet and 700 watt header down into Mark's basement a week ago- beautiful piece of equipment, I'd like to say my bass sounds so clean and punchy now. Mark Gemmell also acquired a new wireless patch cord (same brand as mine! Just a different frequency). I hope you all know what this means. It means the next show is going to kick more ass than originally estimated! About a 9.6 on a kick-ass meter!
We posted a new raw footage video courtesy of David Barnes for posting it up... and Patty & Beth for holding the camera! Maybe there will be more since we recorded more than just those 2 songs, but we have to go over the footage, but check it out, pretty good quality all things considered.
So in conclusion to everything said, this is getting to be a short note I see, we would like to say... come out to the Corktown Pub on the 13th, check us out, the shows is going to be so kick ass that the Pub might have trouble recovering unless they have us back! We hope to see everyone there!
With that I leave you with a music comedy moment of history that, even though it doesn't apply to this note very much, it just needs to be said:
