   About pete newdeck
My name is Pete Newdeck and I hail from the UK. My passion is music and I have been fortunate enough to reach many goals with this passion.

Predominantly a drummer, I have also discovered a passion and flare for writing and producing music and bands respectively.

First experiences of recording and touring at a credible level were whilst being in THE SHOCK whose album 'Pinultimate' is still rated as a classic metal / AOR album.

Following on from this a long spell with IRON MAIDEN front man PAUL DIANNO ensued, which enabled me to see most parts of the world as a professional drummer. Along the way being involved with recording and live and studio releases with appearances at many major festivals worldwide along with extensive touring.

At present I am dedicated and involved with former GRIM REAPER, ONSLAUGHT and LIONSHEART vocalist STEVE GRIMMETT who needs no introduction to open and flaunt his portfolio!

I am very proud to have been producer of the latest STEVE GRIMMETT album, titled PERSONAL CRISIS as well as contributing as a writer to make this album the product that it is. Since it's release in late October 2007, it has received many good reviews and gained much credibility in this style of music. Steve has declared that this is his best work to date and although a little biased I agree!!! The album is available on METAL HEAVEN for Europe and MARQUEE AVALON for Japan.

As well as this, I am also a dedicated member of Worldwide band EDEN'S CURSE. Worldwide in the fact that members are from America, Germany, Scotland and also England. In my opinion it boasts huge talent in song writing, and playing. Key member and main writer Paul Logue being involved with Pink Cream 69's David Readman as well as Empire front man Doogie White amongst others. The band's debut release on AFM records has received nothing but praise and countless highly rated reviews. I have had a large input into the writing for the second EDEN'S CURSE release, which is again to be on AFM records.

I currently endorse DDRUM DRUMS and my current kit is a DDRUM DOMINION ASH double bass kit. In my opinion this is the best sounding kit I have had the pleasure of owning. For me having bass drums that sound like cannons is a must and this kit delivers the goods!! On top of that I find the DDRUM kit so easy to tune without the huge time consumption I have known in he past.

I currently endorse SABIAN CYMBALS. I am lucky enough to have a fantastic relationship with SABIAN and am fortunate to do so, being such a big fan of SABIAN CYMBALS.

My intentions are to be happy in life and to carry on with the enthusiasm I have for music. I am sure this enthusiasm will stay with me for life.........................................................................
