Hey! I'm Christie, otherwise known as 142 Staircases! You can reach me at 142staircases@gmail.com. A little about me: I'm a 21 year old recent graduate of Mills College in Oakland, California. I'm starting the master's program in the history department at San Francisco State next semester, and hope to pursue a PhD after that. I play piano and guitar. I really want to learn the ukulele, just for fun :) I have one album that I created as a gift for a few people which I will put online for free download soon, and I'm working on a bunch of new stuff. I'm also a member of Girls Who Wrock, the YouTube collab (http://www.youtube.com/girlswhowrock).

The Prefect People	Apr 27 2009 8:54 PM Hey 142 Staircases! At my school, I am going to have a fundraiser in order to support the LGBT. (If you don't know what that means, it's the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender parties.) A few days ago was the Day of Silence, and I think it's a great kick off for this fundraiser. People are highly influenced by the power of music, and by the power of books. What does that mean? Wizard Rock. We are going to have a large get together where we are playing Wizard Rock music, watching Harry Potter, etc. All the money we earn is going to be donated to support these groups of people. If any of you have any clothing merchandise, or new - and affordable - c.d. 's, please message me, so I can purchase them from you and we can auction them off at this event!
