About me:
Ruby Kincaid is busy these days—running her late husband’s bowling alley, wrangling her pistol of a sister, and chasing after the two grandchildren her daughter abandoned. When she sees her runaway daughter Violet dressed as a milkmaid starring in a TV commercial, there's only one choice and Ruby knows it—Hollywood or bust. Ruby packs up her It’s not hers, does that matter here? Winnebago to hightail it to California to fetch her wayward daughter. Along for the ride are her fiery sister, Loralva, who wouldn’t dare miss a trip to the game show capital of the world; Violet’s mother-in-law Imogene, who can’t wait to assume her new role as celebrity-in-law; Ruby’s two unruly grandkids; and a mondo size package of MoonPies to keep them all quiet. In a madcap road trip from the dusty flats of Texas to the glittering aisles of The Price Is Right, Ruby survives with a little pluck and some Texas spunk. Fans of Lorna Landvik, Billie Letts, and Ann B. Ross will love Ruby’s tender and side-splittingly funny story of indomitable spirit and unstoppable force. ..Myspace Layout Generator-Layoutgen.com

Amy,
I finally got a chance to read your book over the weekend. Those sassy Texas girls kept me laughing -- though I would have liked to slap Imogene Southern style!
Looking forward to the next one,
Kelly

That Buford kid - pin boy on lanes 1 and 2- has been showing up stoned again and sometimes forgets to hunker down. Damn near killed him on the 4th frame last night.

Dear God,

Thanks for taking Falwell out although it was a bit late. If its not too much trouble could you move Cheney and Robertson up on the list. That would be much appreciated. Say hi to Woden and Vishnu for me.

All my best,
