About me:
I am a self-taught haircutter who resides in Guelph, and London, Ont. Canada. I have been cutting hair for about five years, and a few years ago I dreamed up the idea of traveling around cutting strangers' hair, and writing about it. In January 2006 I actually started it. I have given myself a year to travel around Canada, and cut people's hair, taking a before and after picture, and recording their stories. In each location I write a journal entry, and the end result will be one long story of my travels, written by me over the course of two years, with lots of random stories told to me by the Canadians whom have had the pleasure of cutting hair for, and their before and after photos. I have done seventy seven haircuts so far, and have travelled from Guelph around Ontario, out through New Brunsiwick, Nova Scotia, PEI and Newfoundland, and this year I intend to cover the West and North.
It could get delayed - I am financing these trips myself (conveniently combining them with band shows, a lot of the time), and so I can only really go as far and as long as my money allows me at any given time. But I have high hopes.
