After putting a nail in the coffin of their previous band, Jeff Shapiro and Sam McNitt got lucky as fuck and stumbled upon drummer Johnny Lundock amongst the ruins of craigslist. Together, along with previous bassist Mike Picchetti, they formed Blue Million Miles. They recorded their first album, Of Building Walls, in 2008 and began touring the world – or at least the great West Coast of America. Today, they find themselves with a new bassist, Ethan Ward - and though he lacks the sense of smell, he makes up for it with his creativity and genuinely negative attitude. They spend their time holed up in Jeff Shapiro’s new studio, The Black Moose Lodge, where they are busy crafting a new EP (fall release), staring at limping dogs, and talking about things that are boring.
