My fish are colorful contemporary and sometimes bordering abstract as opposed to classical hard line style or strict scientific representations of the species I happen to be painting. I am more interested in capturing the raw energy they possess, their aggressive movements and music through refracted and intense color which we may only catch glimpses of with aching shoulders after long battles.
My art is meant for those of you who love to feel the surf pounding against your chest while the reel screams and still hold on. For the people who love hearing the snow crunch under wader boots to get to the icy river because you know the monster in the pool wont be expecting you today and those who go the extra 20 miles in a squall where nobody else wants to go because that's where the big fish are. Hey how are you doing? Hope everything is awsome!!! Just wanted to stop in say hi to my friend on here. Happy thursday and hope you have a wonderful weekend.
That is the kinda huntin I like . No one in the woods except me and the critters ! Hangin in there Mike, not doin alot of painting these days. Just being in the woods alot . One good thing about being in the south . We get to hunt year round due to the hog invested woods around here. Wanting to go to Michigan but I'm embarassed to to the unemployment rate ! Looking for work with an 18% unemployment rate is pretty bleak to say the least. So I will just hang out in the woods and play hillbilly for awhile. Good luck hunting .
