Burlesque, cooking, drawing, painting, reading and crystals. I have been blessed with a gift for the fine art of wine tasting.
I love doing yoga too. It's great.
I love being silly and though I wouldn't class myself as a practical joker I do pull a few tricks, which I can't deny I as always give myself away but laughing my head off.
Music
Lots of different kinds. This past year I've been to see:
Matt Willis, Dolly Parton, Michael Ball, Simon Webbe, Scissor Sisters, Kula Shaker and McFly. Wished I lived in the 60's and seen the Beatles perform.
Movies
Back to the Future, The 7 year Itch, Some like it Hot, The Full Monty, Bugsy Malone, The Little Shop of Horrors.
And Hairspray though I haven't seen it for ages. I love Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and have been watching it loads of late. Makes me laugh my head off.
Television
Sci fi, monsters and stuff, and crime drama.
Supernatural, Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Dean Winchester. Sometimes I get scared though and the dog has to sleep on my bed.
Buffy is the best television programme ever made.
And I'm a fan of Diagnosis Murder.
I love Dick Van Dyke. And Saraya Silk wont tell you that she fancies Barry Van Dyke but she does.
Books
Magical stuff and whodunnits.
Love love love Harry Potter and anything by Mary Higgins Clark.
Also, any spiritual book that I'm drawn to.
Heroes
My mum and my dad who are just about the most wonderful people on this earth. And I love Wonder Woman, don't you think Linda Carter who played her looks fantastic.
My sister, Saraya Silk cos she's amazing and is always there when I need her to say and do the right things.
Batman. And last but not least my husband, it never ceases to amaze me how wonderful he is and I feel truly blessed to be his wife.
About me: I started on my merry journey through the beautiful land that is burlesque in November 2006, Bella Besame being my teacher and guide. I find burlesque and the people rather entertaining and wonderful.
What to tell about me. Rather a lot really, but in burlesque fashion, it's more about what you show than what you don't.
I like dressing up. Always have. I love make up and fancy clothes, I love the feeling of being on stage. My idea of hell is going through life with comfy clothes, my only makeup being a 10 year old lipstick and a bit of rouge that only sees the light of day for special occasions. Life is too short to spend my days reminiscing about the life I had, rather than living the one I've got.
I have a sense of humour that some think is a bit weird apart from my beloved sister Saraya Silk, aka Jennie da bomb. My partner in crime.
And fuck yooooo if you think different.
I love music.
I am seriously chatty when the mood takes me and I love to love life.
I hate being bored. I'm not irresponsible nor am I shallow and am serious when I have to be (or when the dreaded depression takes hold) but I think life is too short for boring shite.
Who I'd like to meet: ooooooooooooh, I don't know, It's usually after I've met people that I'm glad I have. Saying that, if I happened to bump into Robert Carlyle I imagine I'd be very pleased.
I've met some lovely people in burlesque circles and would like to meet more.
And if batmman were real, I'd be very happy to meet him. What am I saying, of course he's real.
Hey darling!! Thanks so much for wanting to be my friend... If you are ever in L.A and want to catch a show- drop me a line and I can make that happen.. I'm always looking to network and meet fabulous people!! Hope to see you around! XX Fever
