Terrapin Station is an independent music store located in Murray, Kentucky (920 S. 12th St. Bel-Air Shopping Center). Terrapin has been in business since Sept. 25, 1985. Originally located on Olive St. in the home of its owners, Val and Bob, the store has now expanded from a living room to an average-sized store, containing a variety of paraphernalia, including (but not limited to): the ol' reliable LP's, CD's, music DVD's, new and used books, clothing by Gypsy Rose, homemade tye dyes, hemp jewlery, artworks by local artists, incense, and smiling faces.
