Disinvention was created in the May of 1994 and performed without discussion or planning. In total, about 3 hours were recorded of non-melodic sound from within the stone walled basement which housed many of the early 99¢ Special practice sessions.
The recording was meant to be heard in its full form. Due to the time limitations of conventional CDs in the era this was recorded, it was never released until now in full digital format.
