About me:

Well, I decided to do it. I'm closing down my studio in Malibu CA, getting a camper, and hitting the road to share what I've learned in my 45 years as a musician, producer, artist, and social activist. I have questions and I want answers. I want to find out what's really going on nationally and share things I've figured out which can make a difference. I'll collect other HyperActivists™ and Tribal Leaders and stay in touch with them. Then I will put all the wild stories and discoveries into a book.

I'm doing this because I have to. America is a disturbing place these days. But there are new extraordinary, even magical, things going on. I want to inspire people and give them hope. The powerlessness that people feel is an illusion. There is a great deal of power in group activities and social movements. People have forgotten how to organize themselves over real social issues, mixing-and-matching and voting for what they believe in. They are being herded in long columns toward a civil war of fake Democrats and Republicans created by whoever controls the media. I DO NOT BELIEVE that is how most of the country really thinks, deep down. But if that campaign continues, we will become a 3rd world nation. Then our mineral rights will all be sold to large corporations to offset our poverty. This has happened to country after country: A small group of paid fringe activists deliberately amplify minor tribal and racial differences to launch a civil war, which devastates the country's infrastructure. In my opinion WE are on the menu next, chess pieces in a very big, scientific game. I don't want that to happen here and know how to stop it. It's simple: Alternative media. That includes parties and fire-dancing.

I am a DemUglican. I am bipartisan. I am INclusive. I actively support selected issues from all sides. I support the whole issue of supporting issues. I also support issues we never hear about, things I feel are under the radar and that I would like to gather support for. And I support the notions of community outreach and education. That makes me a useful, relatively sane, American citizen. People are no longer sane citizens. The current 'game' is rigged. It's EXclusive--you can easily see the "teams" lining up behind MSNBC vs FOX NEWS. Angry little Red and Blue teams just like street gangs. But the issues they discuss are actually very small-minded, missing 90% of the awesome stuff REALLY going on in the world. Nothing ever comes of those shrill campaigns except public support for some manufactured con job. They are not really telling you about things that happen outside of the artificial universe of politics, popstars, and TV shows.

The entire commercial media world is a cult. They adjust the size of the box you are supposed to think within and then beat you up. Everything outside of the one or two 'issues' they haggle so obscenely over disappears from view. That re-frames the entire cultural context inside which we live. Shrinks it down. All diversity and novelty is expelled. Social hysteria, superstition, and political stagnation take over. The Democratic process falls into hypnosis and We The People literally perish because we are so brainwashed. I tell you the mainstream media has become divisive and sociopathic. After all, look who pays their bills, they show it every 10 minutes. Look at it with an open mind and you will easily see the connection between specific corporations, the 'news', politics, and finally, the problems in society. The people who design mass media are the new Mommy and Daddy and Teacher and Pusher. I don't think it's fair to blame the public for its addiction.

I like America. I think it rocks. I wish that people here would get along. And MOST Americans do get along. That is my theory. I think we are being scared into a trap by fringe activists using the most sophisticated behavioral science against the public's interests. Those people do not actually believe what they preach. They are deliberately trying to undermine the democratic process to create corporate kingdoms ruled by the media and/or religious extremists.

I want to find the connections, to separate fact from fiction. To do all this, I need YOUR help. I want to tour around and meet people, look at them and see if they are brainwashed and by whom. If they AREN'T, I wanna talk. If they ARE, I want to show people how to wake them up and make friends.
