    A true Renaissance Man- Sunpie has taveled to over 35 countries playing his own style of blues, zydeco, Afro-Caribbean, and Afro-Louisiana music. In addition to being a musician Sunpie has acted in several feature length films including Point of No Return, Under Cover Blues, The Gates of Silence, The Big Easy series, Odd Girl Out, Heartless, Sesame Street, Skeleton Key, Deja Vu and the Much Music Show (Montreal, Canada). Documentaries include When The Levees Break, All On A Mardi Gras Day, Reconstructing Creole, Dutch Travel (1hour feature), French Travel Channel (45 min. feature) and German Travel (1 hour feature). Sunpie has appeared in 13 National Commercials. Sunpie's music has been featured in such films as Deja Vu, Las Vegas, The Shade, Sonny, Under Cover, Skeleton Key, Schultz Gets The Blues, K-Ville and many more. With his group the Louisiana Sunspots, Sunpie has played festival and concerts as far away as, Ranvinimi, Finland located 3 hours above the Artic Circle, San Palo- Brazil, Durban-South Africa, Barcelona-Spain, Lillie-France, Martinique- FWI, Montego Bay-Jamaica, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Ecuador, Netherlands, Montreal Canada and Norway to name a few. Sunpie has 5 critically acclaimed Cd's Loup Garou- Lick A Skillet- Sunpie- Legends of the Swamp- Zydeco's Got Soul- Sunpie is also a veteran park ranger with the National Park Service currently working at New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park, Second Chief of the North Side Skull and Bone Gang, one of the oldest existing carnival groups in New Orleans and a member of the Black Men of Labor Social Aid and Pleasure Club. A former College All American and Professional Football Player.
