Is there any MTV contact that we can bombard to get this release? An email? A phone number? A street address? Fax number? This is really pissing me off. MTV sucks and has for a while, but I would cut it a small break if it would at least release this DVD set!

I just saw on a DVD release page a listing of THE STATE as being released on October 23rd. Anybody know if this is indeed the boxset that we are all salivating for, or if this is the actual release date?!?!?!?!?
Does anyone have a link to the Timmy/Jesus/God sketch? I had it on You Tube once, but I couldn't find it last night to explain to my husband. Those who do not know The State do not know.
Also, does anyone have a link to some really good Viva Variety sketches? I would love to get ahold of Baby Tastes Like Soup or Badgers in a Box.
I too am not happy about them having to change the music, but I know there's nothing they can do about it. The "You should try pants" skit just seemed weird without "Cannonball" in the background when they showed it on the Human Giant marathon.

I worked part-time at FYE This summer, and found a release date for the State DVD to be October 23rd. But I can't confirm that anywhere else.
The omission of cannonball is definitely BS. That was a defining characteristic of that skit for sure.
As for the Barry and Levon skit, it seems they sped it up so the voices are too high pitched. I hope they didn't screw up all the footage like that.
