Hello Cynda,
My latest piece: Tribute to the poet & first songwriter....The PoetSentenced to life. Incarcerated by music that surrounds me. Yet, I have no plans to ever flee this imprisonment, though my words be a key. I toil as wordsmith, while the sculptor within chisels phrases. Music kisses ear before reaching deep inside to caress in rhyme. My inner muse takes bow and credits no one but itself, as hearts applaud in beats. The stage: the world where words reduces all other sound to a murmur, lost in background. Then, stepping forward proclaims by voice, the lyrics birth. Phrased at times to cry, tears of sadness. Or fondle breasts of passion's steaminglust. Romance a smile exposed by moonLIGHT prose. And laughter's roar that happy makes the soul. Adventurous one, traveling time with sails that wind need not inflate, instead by fantasy's blow. Paid tribute to the greatest of heroes that gave their life as gift to world before deceased. All of this to please by taste, the palate of those who hunger words. For this reason I exist. If I should ever cease to write, then from mind escapes the thought that captured heart.
