About me: Alright, this is way out of my league... Ive never done anything like this before But I've decided to start this site because I want to get more involved in the community. I only moved here a year ago. Since then I've had troubles adjusting to the graffiti and the numerous bums digging around in trash cans. I've found out that most of the schools are on a government improvement program. The number of sex offenders here are overwhelming and the air quality is one of the worst in the country. I've lived here for 1 year and have seen at least 3 children under the age of 3 walking around in underwear without adult supervision. Once when a 2yr old and a 3 yr old were throwing glass beer bottles in the street. without any shoes or clothes. Another when one of my 6yr olds friends brought his sister over with a shirt and underwear. And a third time when I came home and found my mail man standing outside with a little girl who had rode her bike around the other side of the block when her 12yr old sister wasn't looking. I have kids and that hurts to think of what could happen!!! Its taken me on a roller-coaster of emotions. I found myself complaining all the time about the many issues of Bakersfield. I wanted to do something about it and I wasn't sure where to start. Im not a politician or an activist. I have no Idea where to begin. Im just a concerned person looking for ways to help. Some would say if you dont like it than just leave. Moving would be easy, but its not going to change anything. I would move away knowing places like Bakersfield exist. Knowing I did nothing. So, my hopes are to bring awareness to the community and hopefully share ideas between others concerned with the issues in Bakersfield. I'm hoping something good will come out of it. This is a place to voice your opinion. I am just a normal person with a family who cares about the quality of LIFE! I am trying to help the only way I know how and I hope you will join me:)
FYI.... I went to STEREO 1 to get a DVD system and have it installed for free like they advertise... I was back there 6 times with a buch of different problems. I got so fed up I took it somewhere else and they told me they hoocked my system up wrong. Stereo 1 also promissed me a better deal every time but ended up giving me less than I origanally had. Check them out at http://www.bbbcencal.org/commonreport.html?bid=82001307. They say that they tryed to resolve the issues. This is not true!! They only promissed things that never happened. Please ask around see if a relative or friend has used this company. Save you the head ache and go somewhere else!!!

Oh well spring is just around the corner and I can atleast get outside and hang by the pool. I do have a few friends that do the same thing I do. Maybe we can vacation together. Some place tropical would be nice, with lots of shopping.

I think you were the person who was asking me about my stay at home business. To answer your question, YES it could not be going any better. Last Month was the best yet. Every month the pay gets bigger and bigger,
and I work less and less. I guess it just takes time to build up your credibility with these companies before they start sending out the highest paying surveys. I just received 2 surveys that paid $100 each. Thats $200 for less than an hours work. Go figure! My friend thats unbelieveable. To think I have friends with college degrees not making the kind of money I am and they are working 45 to 60 hours a week for someone else.
The only problem I find is now I have too much free time on my hands and no one to spend it with.

It takes about 20 minutes to complete each survey. Everyone always ask me why they have to pay money to get started up, but once the join they realize how important the site below really is. They filter out companies that don't really pay you to take surveys, so basically you will ALWAYS get paid because they test out the company first
I mean, come on, you fill out surveys all day on MySpace for free.... Why not get paid for it?
