My dear parents christened me Montague Withnail. To my dear friends and associates, I am known simply but affectionately as "Monty". I live alone (apart from my exceedingly large Persian excuse for a cat 'Olivier'), in Chelsea in a fine Georgian Mews, just off the Kings Road. My preferred car is British-made and I own an exquistely crafted champagne vintage Daimler with buff leather seatings. My other residence is located in the North amongst the dramatic and beautiful mountains of the Lake District. The only remaining family I have is an estranged brother by the name of Dolphie and his good for nothing son who occaisonally visits my abode to drink me out of house and home.
Who I'd like to meet: Alexander The Great. Gene Kelly. Marlon Brando. Cary Grant. James Dean. Montgomery Clift. Mrs Beeton. Lawrence of Arabia. Robin Hood. A young stage hand I used to know back in the day, by the name of 'Towers', whilst I was working on Hamlet at the Strand.
