THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT!!!! FLESH OF GAIA is a splinter of the now recognized Thrash Metal Band MALICIOUS DAMAGE. Two members, Tony Tomaselli and Josh Herter decided to take their music and talents to a new direction. Tony wanted to be able to showcase his versatility and ability by not only playing all the instruments, but also recording and producing the tracks on the new CD. They were able to write and produce the new CD "Dance With The Dead" all within a couple months during the summer of 2009. "Josh and I really kicked it into gear and the songs really came together quickly". "It was a great way to spend the summer" Tony says. With Joshs' ideas and lyrics they were able to create somthing truly visionary with great musical content. FLESH OF GAIA is a combination of melodic riffs, insightful lyrics, and heavy beats that will spiritually enlighten you. Tony and Josh wanted to have a venue where they can express themselves visually and musically without the pressures of outside influences and people. The end result was a well thought out and well constructed group of groovy heavy rock tunes by two guys who want to bring their music and vision to you.
The RockStar, Thanks for visiting our MySpace site and being our new friend. We hope that all is well in your life. Black Angel will be releasing our third album in two years on Earth Day April 22, 2009. It is called "O' San Francisco". We asked Tiffany Lowe, granddaughter of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash (and daughter of country singer, Carlene Carter, and British rocker, Nick Lowe) to sing on the album. The top picture below is of Tiffany in the studio recording with us. The album is dedicated to a close associate of Black Angel who recently died who was a big Johnny Cash fan. We also have former Johnny Cash drummer, Danny Darling, playing on the album. We hope to be touring soon and we may be playing shows with former Black Angel singer, Audrey (Mrs. Ike) Turner. The bottom picture is of Black Angel playing at The Roxy in Los Angeles a few years ago with (left to right): Tomeka Haywood; me; Audrey Turner; and Ronnie Turner (son of Ike and Tina Turner on bass). just listened 2 ur new single the singin' was aaayyt! i can show u some real singin' tho', i'll sing circles around u, i'll wrap ur head w/ a mikestand...lol! seriously, it was pretty damn good!u sound different when u sing, but in a good way.i liked the lead guitar a lot. any more songs u guys workin' on?
