General
taking long walks, running and playing with my other doggie friends, and meeting new doggies. My mommie's interests are to inform others about puppy mills, to encourage people to adopt from their local shelter instead of buying from pet shops or breeders, to spay/neuter, to STOP animal testing, to BAN dog-fighting everywhere, to outlaw the FUR trade industry, to BAN using wild and exotic animals in circuses, to inform others of the horrific cruelty in slaughter houses and the best way to help these animals are to go vegan or vegetarian, and to educate kids to be kind to all animals. she strongly believes in animal rights, and animal awareness.

Honeygirl is currently being fostered at Friends for Life. She was hit by a speeding truck which broke both her hips. Not enough funds were raised to give her the surgery she needed. Her bones did heal although incorrectly, but she is able to walk slowly with limited use of her left back leg. If you would like to donate to Friends for Life, which is a "NO KILL" shelter, please visit www.friendsforlifehawaii.org. They are struggling financially as irresponsible and uncaring people are still "dumping" dogs or leaving boxes of puppies at their gate. Please help.

hi, my name is lani and i live in honolulu, hawaii. i am a pitbull/whippet mix female. i weigh in at about 60 lbs. my mommy found me wandering in the street when i was a pup and brought me into her home 7 years ago. i'm 49 in human years. my mommy loves me to death and showers me with affection, affection and more affection, which is why i am so hyper and in need of constant training. she went to see one of mr. cesar's seminars to get some advice. he says, "exercise, discipline, THEN affection". but my mommy still needs to learn affection comes last....ho hum..... anyways, i LOOOOOVVVVEEE to take long walks, and i love snacks, but can't have 'em cuz of my ear allergies. i hate getting my ears cleaned out, and i hate when my mommy brushes my teeth, but she lets me lick off the doggie toothpaste from the brush after. in the day, i love to bask out in the hawaiian sun on my back. at nite i snore really loud; mom has a hard time sleeping...woof bol...i am living proof that pitbulls are like any other dog, kind, lovable and man's best friend. Please do not stereotype our kind. All doggies give unconditional love...to everyone out there, mommy made this my space page as remembrance for my chi sis 'babie' (see my blog) and so that everyone can see animal cruelty for what it really is...please don't hurt animals...they deserve love and respect just like humans do...one more thing, please don't breed or buy us...there are enough of us pitties out there, especially in the shelters. please go to your nearest dog shelter and adopt one of us now, we desperately need loving homes!
