I may have to ask you a million questions about Gran Canaria and Barcelona!

I can't believe the flights are so expensive!! We got our flights to Barcelona for like $491 - so like 50 euro...lol. I think it was a mistake on Expedia's part, though.

I sent Javier an email for him to look that information up for you.

I know! We’ve heard how expensive it is. It seems like the dollar gets weaker and weaker everyday. It’s a good thing we’re there for a limited time only. Hopefully, after the election, the dollar picks up a little bit. We’re going to Gran Canaria. I think we’re doing a hiking tour to the top of some mountain. You can see the water from up there. Hopefully it’s warm enough to go to the beach, but warm to me is 90 degrees Fahrenheit!

I will tell Javier to start compiling a list of hotels for you. Are you coming alone? If so, you’ll probably want to stay closer to Javier. What’s your daily budget? I know that there is a hotel that has a weekly rate close to where the wedding is. We can check that out for you. I’ll tell Javier to email you everything he finds.

I’m flying to NYC this weekend, then I’ll be in Boston for a week. I still have so many things to do for the wedding – I don’t know where to begin!

Again, I’m really glad that you’re going to be here. I know it means a lot to Javier. He was so excited when I told him yesterday.

Yes, we're flying in to Barcelona. We'll be there for about 1/2 a day, then we're off on our cruise. We're taking a cruise to Morocco, Portugal, Canary Islands...then back to Barcelona for 1 1/2 days...then home. I can't wait!

Any recommendations for Barcelona? Have you been to the other places?

Javier and I can help you find some good deals on hotels. I have off from December 3 until January. We leave for Spain on the 11th. It won't be a problem for you to come early and leave a few days later. :o)
