About me:

The greatest asset of Flint is and has always been one thing, its people and families. This is what I learned being born and raised here in Flint. This is a place filled with people with heart who care for their families. People with vision who want opportunity for their kids. People with the courage to stand for something, and the tireless work ethic to see it through. I am running for mayor to put people first, so that we will have the power again to take care of our neighborhoods, bring jobs and development, and make our children proud to call Flint home.

Flint, MI, is being pounded by the economic recession with businesses and schools closing at a record rate! We are attempting to SAVE a nearly-new playground by moving and re-installing it to a safe and protected location for hundreds of children from all walks of life. Please consider making a donation, large or small, as well as passing on this invitation to others. We need to raise $45,000 to complete the installation of approximately $120,000 of equipment. Your help will be genuinely appreciated.

    "Flint is a safe city."
This WAS a quote by the mayor during the debate, was it not?

His new commercial and mailing proudly proclaims "Zero homicides in July and September!".

Gee, what a record. There WERE eight other months this year, don't they count? This year has two months to go. Will the next boast be "We didn't have murders 33% of the year 2007."?

My next door neighbor's car was stolen from her driveway this morning, practically under her nose. SHE sure doesn't feel safe, and we aren't too fond of it either.

Dayne, I am so looking forward to you being in the mayor's seat next week.
