Waking up alive. Heaven is a freezin cold Retsina, proper black olives and feta drowned in virgin olive oil. Heaven 2: A really true Cider. Wasp wings and rat tails - bring 'em on.Music
Public Image Limited. Finish the Story. Cure - but unplugged. Kraftwerk. Early Roxy Music. Early to mid Brian Eno. Massive Attack. This Window and of course The Dancing DidMovies
Come and See. Russian war film that says it all. Sin City. Any Marx Brothers but with the leading man/woman's songs removed. Bambi. The first Matrix - the others are doggy doo.Television
I am not a great fan of television but 'Shaun the Sheep' holds my interest (Hi Golly and Rob D.). I hate cars but find the puerile antics of the Top Gear team very funny - as in laugh out loud. 'Mock the Week' and 'Have I got News for You' show satire is alive and 'Argumentative' proves that comedy can get funnier. I think this just demonstrates that my basic TV consumption is humour.Books
Nothing has really been written that can better the two Winnie-the-Pooh books. The Dice Man by Luke Rhinehart comes close. The Fan Man by William Kotzwinkle is a gem and anything by Veronica Henry is going to make you feel good even if you are not a girlie. Not read any Harry Potter but a big hug to J. K R for getting kids to read.Heroes
Peter and Jake Bright: Guitar heroes. John Lydon: voice hero.
