    ..1592 "The Rise of the Fallen" available on iTunes now! The members of 1592 have been immersed in the intense music scene of Detroit for many years. Having played with a myriad of groups, they have come together to create a change in the music world. While other bands are content to strive for success, 1592 is determined to change the pre-existing notions of the musical scene. Their debut album, "The Rise of the Fallen," earned them the Favorite Album of the Year 2007 at the Detroit Music Awards, their guitarist was awarded Outstanding World Musician at the 2008 Detroit Music Awards, and members have also received two Detroit Music Awards for Outstanding Reggae Group. Their blend of traditional music with newer technologies makes for an extremely groove oriented approach. Armed with the talent and know how of roots reggae and rock-steady1592 are breaking new ground, within the city of Detroit. Consisting of musicians from surrounding musical scenes, this group is driven to impact the reggae world with their in depth look at the original music. Having played with groups such as The Skatalites, Toots and the Maytals and others of the original Jamaican sound, 1592 is determined to take a roots oriented approach to the music that they love. So come check out the heavy beat of the newest sound in Detroit. Making the audiences move and groove to the original sounds of Jamaica infused with the city of Detroit.
