Well, here's the deal... From 1997-2000, We had our first house in Huntington Beach, CA. That house was the party spot, recording studio, and after-hours hang out for: DROWN, FAMOUS, KOTTONMOUTH KINGS, CORPORATE AVENGER, HED.PE, LIT, ORGY, MALFUNCTION and countless other LA/Orange County bands. Ultimate Fighters TITO ORTIZ ,TANK ABBOTT and even mega pornstar Vivid Girl SKY LOPEZ were also a part of our world. Anyone doing anything out of Orange County, CA back then was part of the madness. We had an amazing scene, and everyone a part of those days knows EXACTLY how nutz we really were! We had Club 1605 (a weekly heavy music club - r.i.p.), our own weekly cable t.v show (which ran for about a year straight), and 1605 Clothing, which is still going strong!! .. .. Out of all of that, the term "1605" soon spread through the underground and became known as a world created by artists, fans, and friends worldwide... to be down with each other and to stay united against mainstream music, mainstream lifestyles, and mainstream mentalities. .. If we could find it in the dictionary, the definition of "1605" would be: noun: "To live by what defines you as a person." verb: "Not worrying about conforming to the standard that society has created for you." .. THIS IS YOUR LIFE, LIVE IT YOUR WAY! .. .. FAST FORWARD to 2001. Vocalist LAUREN (drown/famous) and Guitarist ALFUNCTION (malfunction/OPM/cypress hill) launch a new project called SiX, and give birth to 1605 RECORDS. SiX bassist Deven Pahl had the nationwide distribution worked out, so it was on! .. We named the label after the insanity, endless fun, and unforgetable friends from back in those days...This label is not some trendy, lame, corporate bullshit!! .. WE LIVE IN AND REPRESENT THE UNDERGROUND!!!!! .. .. So far we have released the debut the SiX ep "When the Beauty's Gone", SiX full length "The Price of Faith", and Loony Binn's debut album "Live at Eddie's Liquor". We currently have The Heathens debut album, and the new Loony Binn album "710" in production, and the next SiX album "Between The Warning And The War" is about to be released in Spring 2006.
