Musician, Singer/Performer, Songwriter, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Pilot, Environmentalist, Philanthropist, Humanitarian, Inspiration and friend to millions; his music spanned three decades and continues to draw and inspire new listeners and fans to this day. John gave his all to the short time he had on this earth, writing songs of love, warmth, family values, and encouragement in preserving our planet and making positive connections with it and eachother. He supported the space program, The Hunger Project, The National Wildlife Federation, The Cousteau Society, Friends of the Earth, The Windstar Conservancy..the list goes on. As his best friend, Tom Crum, said after his death: "John lived life full throttle!" John lives on through his music and in the hearts of his fans and all those who knew and loved him.
