About me:

myspace layouts, myspace codes, glitter graphics Hi guys! Interested in making a change in your neighborhood, but don't seem to know how or where to start? Well, just your luck because Youth Views happens to be a program for young people and educators who want to learn how to use documentary films to educate and empower their communities! We are a project of the Community Engagement and Education department at American Documentary, producers of the award-winning PBS documentary series P.O.V. (“point of view”), and we provide free resources and training in facilitation and media literacy to help you develop your leadership skills, community programs and educational curricula. Join others from across the country in learning how to use independent media responsibly in your community to effect positive social change. Youth Views #1 goal is paving the way for the future leaders, educators, activists, organizers, and storytellers of tomorrow just like you. Right now, you are living your historic time period and if we as youth do not step up to the plate and leave a mark, then who will?!?
