The style can be described as a mix of Soul, Jazz, Pop and Funk in both instrumental arrangements as well as vocal compositions in both English and Swedish. The musicians are all students or teachers at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, except for Emilia Nyman who has training as a musical artist from the Ballet Academy in Gotenburg. She has also studied for Elisabeth Howard at the Vocal Power Academy in Los Angeles. EC has performed at different cubs and festival in Scandinavia. During the spring of 2006, EC participated in the music contest Musik.ax and won the second prize, as well as the jury's honorary mention.
