..O'Shea's Olde Inne in the heart of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, is a showcase for local and national musical talent. From Irish folk songs to blues and jazz, to acoustic rock and bluegrass, O'Shea's offers a performance community to musicians. They play guitars, banjos, mandolins, and fiddles. In the tradition of New England village centers, owner Joe O'Shea has established a unique gathering place with good heart and an open door to established and aspiring musicians. We are famous for our Sunday night traditional Irish Session featuring jigs and reels. Wednesday nights a number of local musicians jam in our beginner's session. Friday nights swing with jazz, which is attracting some fine artists who drop in to play. As Jazz regular Mike Connors says, "It's an American songbook right here at O'Shea's. Acoustic guitarists Beth Terrio and Doreen La Franchise alternate Monday nights, playing well known rock from John Lennon to Janice Joplin, the Eagles to Madonna. The style is classic and contemporary folk, pop, rock. Sean Brennan plays traditional Irish songs and acoustic rock most Tuesday nights. On Wednesdays, Brother Phil works up a sweat with blues classics from Hank Williams Sr. and Jr. to Chuck Berry, along with Grateful Dead tunes. Often Beth and Doreen join Brother Phil, and regular characters like Owen Money drop in for some olde time fingerstyle pickin'. Other regular musicians include 3 Cats and a Dog, Terry Brennan, Dave Hickey, Joe MacDonald, Johnny O'Sullivan, and Inchicore, Boston's best Irish band.
