I love working in my yard but there doesn't seem to be time anymore (how sad is that). Wine and cheese tasting (nice). Working with children (rewarding). Love my grandkids and family.Summerlin and the local political scene (interesting). Home decorating, mine and others(fun). My friend Mark got me really interested in the environment. Now I want to make a difference; so I encourage everyone to do at least one thing even if it is only to change your lightbulbs. Five for Fighting is for my mom who is 99, Classical, Jack Johnson, Raggae, 80's, Michael Buble. Steve Tyrell & Earl Klugh just knock my socks off. The sound track from El Postino. The Fray, Snow Patrol and so many alternative bands..and there is a special place in my heart for Panic at the disco and Steve Miller (I wonder if he remembers?)..Love Colbie Caillat & Roisin Murphy.
Movies
Same Time Next Year (I love the music in that movie, it warms my heart everytime I see it), El Postino, La Vita e Bella(Life is Beautiful), Young Frankenstein (all time best movie lines), High Anxiety, Vacation. I'm looking forward to seeing Across the Universe..I hope it lives up to the hype and not just bad karaoke. I saw African Queen one time and loved it, and was Skip the saddest movie ever?
Television
I love Big Brother, Survivor, HGTV and PBS. I'm also hooked on Lost. Oh, and I really like Grey's and Men in Trees. I am a true TV junkie..a TV in every room and on the patio.
Books
Harry Potter,Bridges of San Luis Rey by Thorton Wilder, and Bridges of Madison County. The Joy Luck Club is one of my favorites and I was lucky (no pun) to meet Amy Tan. I recall reading all the Pearl Buck books when I was in school and loving them all but The Good Earth was wonderful. "for one more day" is one I am reading right now.
Heroes
The everyday people that work at hospitals and hospice that care if we live or die and that we die with dignity. My dad was in WWII, his ship was sunk, he dog paddled for hours in the Pacific Ocean before being rescued and he was a Los Angeles firefighter for over 30 years so he is about as heroic as you can get. Thanks Dad!

well on november 14th my grandma passed then at noon the very same day rustys good friend passed driving his harley down rainbow and got hit. january 16th 3 days after bobbys birthday we had to put our loving dog down due to cancer that wasnt curable. so thats how ive been, but were still pushing through day by day love ya teri
