About me:
Hey all, I'm a recent graduate from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut majoring in journalism and history. Upstate New York is where I was born and raised. Currently, I have moved back to Plattsburgh, after being an arts and entertainment writer for the Teton Valley News in Driggs, Idaho, in an effort to finish the "Great American Novel" at the farmhouse. Music, traveling, and friends are the three things I cannot live without. I love meeting new people, so feel free to chat. The first thing anyone notices when they meet me is personality....all my friends say I'm a pretty wild and crazy guy. You'll never forget my name and always remember me for some reason or another.... Updated "About Me": So yea, my name is Garret but someday I will be known as the "great American novelist"...sound good? I thought so...has a nice *ting* to it...kinda like the sound a beer bottle makes when it is carelessly thrown at some poor bystander by some manic in a drunken rage leaving his local watering hole with an empty wallet, false hopes, depleting marriage, as well as lack there of a sex life to which the only suffice is scrambled porn, cheap beer, and badly worn underwear with robe accessory. Now that is out of the way, lets cut to the chase...I believe in optimism, I believe in the power of imagination and the need for freedom of the mind in this country, I believe Bush never won either election- bring back Clinton, I believe in good literature and the power of written word, I believe in God but not in religion, I believe in escapism but not abandonment, I believe in the power of music but not the power of government...want to know more? I know you do...If so, track me down like a fox in a hound hunt and tell me what's on your mind...who knows...maybe it'll lead to a conversation or lack there of...oh well, best not think too hard on these things. Bye my loves...to the victor go the spoils...
