The heavy hitting riffs of 16 Second Stare are unpredictable and daring in their full-length debut album, Red Carpet Material. The strong team of "Angry" Tim Shanks and Todd Pettus, with Chris Davis and producer and Miguel Gonzalez, deliver pure rock and roll substance. Angry Tim grew up in Detroit MI. musically influenced by Keith Richards, Malcom Young, Jimmy Page and Jimi Hendrix. As a singer and guitar player, his love of writing music and partying with the crowd go hand and hand. Todd Pettus, lead guitar and vocals, hails from Muscle Shoals AL. "Growing up learning Zeppelin, AC/DC and Metallica,” Todd explains, “my style’s a little different than Tim’s; he’s a little more old-school." "We’ve got a lot of cross-breeding going on over here,” Tim drawls with a chuckle, correctly citing the introspective “Stuck in the Moment” as a song that appeals to both the new and old rock schools, then add powerhouse producer Miguel Gonzales and you have the basis of 16 Second Stare. A seasoned professional, Gonzalez, brought years of experience from working with big names in the industry, such as Brian Howe of Bad Company and Matt Kramer of the band Saigon Kick. Add the ever-charming Chris Davis of Lakeland FL. on drums, and this band is ready for their up and coming tour.
