About me:

I have a terrific husband, Patrick and 6 wonderful children, Sam, twins Andy & Amber, Michael & Rosemary and Monique, who is like a daughter to me. I have 2 beautiful granddaughters, Mia & Bella. I also have 3 chihuahuas, Sarah, Lili,& Toby. I love to watch movies, read, cook, bake, family get togethers. Do anything artsy/crafty or on the computer, fish, travel and theater. And one of my most important part of my life is being a CASA Volunteer. A position that I am truly privileged to have and hope and pray that I can make positive difference in a childs life by being his/hers voice in court.

    Hey Halo, ;)
    While I was here I perused your comments. The video of Bella is too cute.
    The plants?
    Asparagus ferns can take the cold. You can let them get pretty dry before watering. Lots of sun appears to be no problem.
    The other one. Does okay with cold but protected by a porch roof or such. I never found out what it is. It has been living with all day dappled sun. It can get pretty dry before watering too. It does not like wet feet for prolonged periods. The leaves curling will tell you when it needs water.
    Both will get much bigger than they already are. Both are good growers root bound, but could be divided now.
    That's what I'm doing to mine. Which is why I'm giving so many away.
    I don't need that many potted plants. LOL
    I am so glad you wanted them though.
    I know they'll be loved.

    Susie,
    Funny you should bring plants up. I've got some got some potted plants I want to give away.
    Would you like a fairly large asparagus fern?
    It will need something about 3 feet tall to rest on. The fronds hang down about that far.
    Easy to grow. can dry out. In summer I water about every 4th day.
    pretty red berries in winter.
    Could be divided into 4 smaller pots.
    I could bring it by since it's so big.

    Hey Susie,
    I'm stopping by to say HI! and tell you that the pencil cactus has grown another foot. I don't think I've ever seen a plant grow so fast. There are some strange things happening to most of my plants. I've got a "mother in law tongue" that's about to bloom. I've had it for years and that's a first. The 'Impatiens" are producing seeds .... by the thousands.
    The "peace lily" is HUGE. The "poinsettia's" are so big I won't be able to put them in the house for Christmas. It's a banner year for potted plants over here. Is there a chance you wanna trade something for a big asparagus fern?

    Oh yeah she's walking alright. She started walking a week after her birthday. That picture was when I took her to see Elmo goes Green at the Stockton Arena. She freakin loved it!! She seriously was dancing and clapping the whole 2 hours! She had so much fun! And she couldn't stay in one spot! She would bounce back between my Mom, Chante, and I. It was hilarious!
