About Kitty The Lion

Starting life as singer-songwriter Anna Meldrum, Kitty the Lion became a pride in 2009 with the addition of Alan Langdon on upright bass, Nick Roan on drums, Sorren Maclean on guitar and Callum Wiseman on mandolin to the line up. Since then, the band have been named as one to watch by Vic Galloway and Jim Gellatly... plus Chris Addison - that guy from The Thick of It who is on Mock the Week sometimes - said they were "ace".
Kitty the Lion have gigged up and down the country since their inception, including a coveted slot at T in the Park. They have also built dens out of bunk-beds, worn clothing made of tents and leapt from a burning van somewhere on the A9.
