About me:
For the past 6 years, I've lived in LA (after 4 years at UCLA), but I grew up in the asshole of America - a slice of suburban hell known as Katy, Texas. 2007 is the beginning of a new era in my life. I'm done working with the California Clean Money Campaign (a nonpartisan political organization ensuring fair elections and a government accountable to the people and not big money - caclean.org). I'm leaving a fantastic ocean view apartment on Venice Beach. And I'm giving it all up to dart down to Latin America for a year of service, learning, and discovery. Of course, for those who've been paying attention, travel is nothing new for me. Along with salsa, it's an addiction. It all started when I participated in Semester at Sea during my senior year at UCLA visiting Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Tanzania, South Africa, Brasil and kickin' it with Fidel in Cuba. In 2004, I returned to Africa to work with refugees in Zambia to establish a community library. In 2005, I backpacked around Central America, and my 2006 foreign adventure was a FREE trip around Israel and Palestine. Unfortunately, I must have said or done the wrong thing, cuz everything went to hell the moment I left. On a more personal note, I'm a dork who loves to read, write, discuss politics, debate religion, and ponder the mysteries of the universe. Finally, I heart the Baton! All People Be Happy.Who I'd like to meet:
Well, ideally interesting and attractive human females between the ages of 8 and 88, but I'll settle for pretty much anybody or anything organic. Just so long as they aren't overbearingly egocentric. I mean, c'mon, there is a whole freaking universe of stuff out there to explore, who gives a crap about your freaking Chanel sunglasses.Details

I feel an ache in my stomach and my heart but i know you lived like a flame burning bright and warm on everyone you encountered. Thank you for teaching me to live life to its fullest.
