Blue Eagle Music, located on Court Street in uptown Athens, is an old-style "mom and pop" string shop, offering an eclectic mix of new and used stringed instruments and accessories, as well as amps, effects, cables, and other electronic needs. Lessons are available for guitar, banjo, fiddle, bass, mandolin, bagpipes, and middle-eastern percussion. The shop offers maintenance and repair on most stringed instruments.
Open Monday 10am - 5pm, Tuesday through Thursday 10am - 7pm, Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am - 5pm, Sunday 1pm - 5pm.
