About me: NEWS 3/7/2009..........I would like to announce the release of another new print..it's a watercolor entitled, "Plate 1: This Fragile Vessel". The original will be part of the "How To Leave Your Body" split show with Mr. Daniel Albrigo at Redletter1 Gallery in May, but a handful of these prints are available now. The print is a limited run of 200, signed and numbered, printed on beautiful ultra-high quality stock with acrchival inks. This one is 80 bucks plus shipping & handling, and it measures approximately 13.5" x 22". Get yours here! UPDATE: This print is now sold out...thanks so much to everyone who supported, and those who missed it...don't sleep on the next one! I'll be working on new paintings and other items for the show until May, and will be taking on new commissions again after that, so thanks to everyone for your patience and continued support, always!........NEWS 10/7/2008............The limited-run "Winter" print is finally sold out, thanks so much to everyone who supported. The last 10 prints of the run are being held in reserve because after the other three prints are released, there will be 10 special sets of all four prints made available which will include the four seasonal prints and a small original watercolor! The next print in the series ("Spring") is in the works and should be out soon so keep watching. Thanks again!............NEWS 9/21/2008......Production is finally about to start on the Four Horsemen book. Everyone's stuff looks amazing and I'm pretty honored to be a part of this group. We posted a few taster photos of the flash sheets that are the centerpiece of the book, so take a look if you're interested and also check out the "Four Horsemen Preview" sections on Brian Bruno, Soner, and Chastain's pages too. There will be a series of four prints that will accompany the deluxe edition of the book as well, we were each assigned one of the four horsemen to base the painting on, so once I'm finished with that, work should continue on the "Spring" print which will be out shortly after. Painting commissions continue to roll in too, so thanks to everyone and keep 'em comin'! The more I can paint, the happier I am! There has been a lot of stress these past few months, so thanks to everyone for hanging in there and supporting me. More news soon........NEWS 8/7/2008.............Just a little painting stuff, I'm wrapping up the last of the old commissions so i'm officially caught up soon, which I'm stoked about. Apologies to those who waited and thanks again for your patience. Following the respose to the"Winter" print a few months ago, I decided to do the other three seasons and make a little series out of it. The next one will be Spring (hopefully sometime in the next month), followed by Summer and, last but not least, Fall...that is, if the polar ice caps haven't all melted by then..and if they have, then "Summer" will be followed by "Summer 2: Endless Summer, Extreme Edition!" ..Thanks always for support from everyone, you know who you are. More stuff soon............................ "NEWS 7/18/2008...........So I'm finally finished with all my flash sheets for the "Four Horsemen" book. It was way more time consuming than I thought it was going to be, but I hope everyone will enjoy the results. I'd like to thank everyone who commissioned paintings in the middle of this process for being patient, your paintings are all in the works and coming soon... and I'd especially like to thank Doreen for not kicking my ass to the curb for being in the studio every night until the birds start singing. I'm finally able to take new painting commissions again too, so to everyone who's been waiting, bring it on! Coming soon: the next print in the "Four Seasons" series (Spring), as well as a new collaboration print with one of the only people willing to put up with my sloppy style, the one and only Chris O'Donnell. In other news, I've got a couple little pages in Chad Koeplinger and Horitaka's new book, "We Are Tattoo", published in conjunction with Tattoo Burst Magazine. Many, many great artists once again, as well as some great interviews with Jack Rudy, Doug Hardy on Rollo, and a Juan Puente/Scott Sylvia interview about machine building that will make you want to raise your index finger and pinky in the air and shout "Fuck Yeah!!! Fuck Yeah!!! IN YOUR FACE!!" ...well, at least I did.
Thanks again to everyone for all the love and continued support. I'll be posting more new painting photos soon, and of course still tattooing Fridays through Mondays at Brooklyn Adorned. Come on by and say hello!
