About me:

Millennium M.O.D.E.L.S. was founded on the campus of Sam Houston State University on November 1, 2000 by three dedicated young women. , Katrina Kiselinchev, Janelle McCalla and Angela Reese all wanted to make a difference on the campus. They began with a vision and a mission of the acronym of M.O.D.E.L.S. The acronym stands for Making Optimum Differences in Everyone's Lives at Sam. The organization strives to make optimum differences in everything that it does. Educationally, Millennium M.O.D.E.L.S. has sponsored various seminars on topics such as Domestic Violence, and Professional Dress. Socially, they have also hosted a Christmas Social, an annual event, to benefit charity. Service Oriented, the Millennium M.O.D.E.L.S. also pride themselves on making a difference in the community through starting a reading/mentoring program with the Huntsville Elementary, and an outgoing outreach program with the local nursing home. And to bring a new twist to the campus, the Millennium M.O.D.E.L.S. have also started various innovative fund-raisers such as their custom-made pillows, and events such as Millennium Month, which hosts a number of seminars, events, and Dinner and a M.O.D.E.L. This organization has been recognized for its numerous achievements by winning the "Outstanding Special Interest Organization" in 2001 and 2002, and the "Publicity Plus Award" in 2002 for the "Return of the Thongs Car Wash".
