Biography

Hailing from the industrial wastelands of Manchester (UK), gutter rock n rollers Dear Superstar combine their passion for 80’s hard rock with the power and bile of modern metal.

Riding their unscrupulous and depraved rollercoaster into sold out venues across the UK and Europe, Dear Superstar have destroyed stages supporting the likes of Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Bullet For My Valentine and sharing stages with Metallica, KISS, Aerosmith and Motley Crue at Download Festival, Graspop, Sonisphere UK/SWISS amongst others – whilst building the foundations as the UK’s brightest hope for lecherous Rock N Roll.

With an unquenchable thirst for life on the road, Dear Superstar recorded their breaking album “Heartless” with producer Romesh Dodangoda to document years of touring and a graphic confession of the band's lifestyle of unbridled mayhem. This sparked a unique relationship with legendary rock independent label Demolition/DR2 Records who went on to release the album in October 2008.

Dear Superstar then burst straight back onto the live circuit for a guelling touring onslaught throughout 2009 and 2010.

Having been to hell and back and seen the world twice over since "Heartless" was written, Dear Superstar started recording thier definitive album "Damned Religion" at thier own Superstar Studios (www.superstar-studios.co.uk), in an attempt to articulate the euphoric highs and crushing lows of a real rock band. DAMNED RELIGION will hit shelves on February 14th 2010 accompanied with another endless touring schedule!
