"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious.
It is the source of all true Art & Science." - Albert Einstein
Here you will read what M.A.R.A is about, along with some of our projects, research & investigations to the left.
M.A.R.A investigate U.F.Os, paranormal phenomena, alien sightings, ghosts, poltergeists, apparitions, psychic phenomena, E.S.P, remote viewing, earth mysteries, Forteana & antigravity in the Merseyside & North West area of England.
M.A.R.A was founded in February 1996 & is an association dedicated to investigating & discovering the scientific truth behind unexplained anomalous phenomena & paranormal activity. We are a non-profit making organisation whose aims are to encourage, promote & conduct unbiased objective investigation & research into U.F.O/paranormal phenomena. We aim to collect & disseminate evidence & data relating to anomalous phenomena. We will co-operate with persons & organisations engaged in similar research in all parts of the country. We also provide support for University undergraduate research.
M.A.R.A consists of an informal group of people of all backgrounds & a variety of ages over 18. The group limits itself to a relatively small number of people, composed of individuals with mixed backgrounds who want to actively investigate & research U.F.O/paranormal phenomena. The primary objective of the group is to be active in investigating & researching such phenomena within Merseyside. Investigation by members has to be done at their own expense (something other associations fail to mention). Association members are open minded & objective in their approach & investigative training is given. Membership application to M.A.R.A is free & space permitting & is open to any interested individuals.
The Association is jointly run by its group organisers called co-ordinators. They are investigators & researchers in their spare time, & members of well-known national organisations. They are responsible for any major decisions involving the group in addition to the association's membership, activities, functions & research.
Co-ordinators are:
Bill Bimson - Webmaster of our main site, treasurer for the Association & brain on all things physics-related.
All investigators work under a strict Code of Practice. All witnesses are treated with the greatest respect & can be assured that all investigations & interviews will take place in confidence.
The Paranormal Researcher
The Paranormal Researcher is a publication which serves as a voice for M.A.R.A members who want to write about their research, investigations & interests in anomalous phenomena. We will also print letters from readers & include articles & advertisements belonging to those who are not a part of M.A.R.A but who would like to contribute their research to this publication. It will not involve payment for the article but it will mean that your article will be read by a large number of people involved with U.F.Os & the paranormal.
Lectures & Events
M.A.R.A regularly hold events & lectures & have had many well-known guest speakers within the field of the paranormal. From Anthony A. Peake author of Is There Life After Death?, Dr. Matthew Smith from Living TV's Most Haunted, & Father Lionel Fanthorpe of Fortean TV fame, to name but a few.

Where are you getting all these animal pictures looking through the ceiling hole with the caption "Ceiling cat or Ceiling dog is watching you masturbate"? How many have you sent out? I thought the cat with the bulging eyes was funnier than the dog by the way.
