About me:

A few words... I love to smile and have fun, but I have a serious streak that shows up like a WV road throughout my personality. I read, write poetry, dance, sketch, listen to music, and love to participate in challenging discussions--especially with my dad and Michael (gosh I miss you!). I am honest but also very private. I like watching football and yelling at the tv screen to encourage the team - who doesn't?! :)I occasionally watch NASCAR racing with dad (I gotta admit though- its mostly for the near misses and accidents). I like to cheer on the underdog (well... at least the one that has a chance of winning. I look for the good in people and tend to treat them as I would want to be treated. I love learning new things and exploring the world/universe around me via reading material, tv, conversations, and the web. I especially enjoy being outdoors. Whether night or day, I love to experience the outdoors through activities like biking or hiking or just to lie on the ground and take in the night sky.     Reading - mysteries, horror, historical, etc., dancing, listening to music, sketching, walking, biking, camping, exploring. Whether relaxing, hanging out, or some of our crazy adventures- family and friends still the best entertainment life can offer.

    Rick Springfield rocks a whole lot more than just "Jessie's Girl". I loved this song and the effort he was supporting. I also love that he rocks with his fans at his concerts! Frank Sinatra to Frank Zappa. Blues, Country, Pop, Bluegrass, Punk, Edgy, Classic, and yes, Opera. Anything upbeat that makes you want to tap your feet or something with smooth lyrics and a mellow flow. Kind of depends on my mood-but being female it is apt to change from moment-to-moment.     Something interesting and entertaining that will teach me something or touch inner being.

    Discovery channel, TLC, Sci-fi, History, Music, Sports. I like to watch football- WVU- Raiders-Steelers-Packers; auto racing (with dad); boxing (when available - de la hoya fave)--hockey and a little tennis. Oh yeah, the NEWS! :)

  • Heroes

    My dad. He is what I want to be. Honest. Hardworking. Fun. Smart. Respectful. He still sees the good in an honest days work and an honest exploration of ideas/ideals. He instilled in me to not be a sheep and instead to think for myself. I believe that sometimes you need to search for answers to some of life's questions - not just follow the accepted course. My Mom is the hardest worker I know. After several catastrophic events she is still someone to be admired for her steadfast courage and abiding love.
