Guinness's Blurbs |
About me:
It's a social group. Demented and well-lubricated, but social. We get together once a month to plans ways to get together once a month which involve Guinness, or at least beer. Our membership requirements are very strict: you MUST be or at least appear to be a primate, and able to lift a glass toward your lips, ideally using an opposable thumb (though we have let that last bit slide for a couple of members).
We meet on the second Monday of the month at our headquarters pub, B. D. Riley's Irish Pub at 204 East 6th Street in downtown Austin (near the corner of Brazos). We gather about 6:30, meet starting at 7pm and usually finish the meeting part by 7:20 or so. Then we settle down over a pint or three to solve the world's easier problems and plan our next fun thing, Come visit!
Next Meeting: April 14th, 2008. Come have a pint (or two) with us!
