About me:
..I don't know what "scriptshaker" means.
It was just a semi-random choice of words I thunk up for a cool sounding email address some time ago. In the words of Homer Simpson, "It's just gibberish, honey, like rama-lama-ding-dong, or 'give peace a chance.'"
I'm a screenwriter and filmmaker born and raised in Chicago, IL. Just another schmoe trying to push his way into the big leagues. But I love my city and have no intentions of relocating to LA. Like the song says, "If I can make it there, I'll make it anyw -- Wait, that's NY. Dammit.
Plus we've got a cool mayor in office. Say what you will about Dick, but a town run by a guy who goes on camera without combing his hair and seems to be on the verge of cussing in each interview? That's my kind of town.
Who I'd like to meet:
Somebody with the green or the pull to get my work produced.
To meet just for the hell of it? No one comes right to mind. There are plenty of actors I think are great at what they do, but I don't follow gossip columns and tabloids, so there's nobody in particular I'd like to go out drinking with. Well, maybe Russell Crowe, cause he might up and start some shit. That'd be cool.
And Mel Gibson. That nigga crazy.
Oh, and Donny Osmond. I'll bet you he's a bad-ass. He's all quiet and Mormony, but if I weren't between jobs I'd bet you a paycheck he's got some Johnny Cash tucked away in there somewhere. I wonder if I could take him in a fight. I'd fight the fuck outta Donny Osmond. Check him out below.
