About me:
I'm a poet and author for children and young adults. I've written fifteen books, mostly verse-novels. I've performed my work in many countries over the past seventeen years, including New Zealand, USA, UK, Canada, Vietnam and Singapore. My verse-novels have been released internationally in the USA and UK, and are soon to be released in Italy and the Netherlands.
But, much more importantly, I'm a striker for the Blackheath All-Age football team! My son, Joe, plays midfield.

I have just been given an assignment to do on poetry and poets and i choose to study you. I have read Simple Gift and By The River and thought they were both amazing. I was wondering are there any intresting facts about yourself or even how you began your career as a writer?
