About me:

.. .. .. Hey thar 'yall, I'm the Aardvark or El Presidente when I'm in the producer's chair but usually I'm Brett Collidge. I have a very creative wife Meg and two boys that keep me very happy and very busy. They are the bestest! I play music with lots of people. Firslty, I play covers for a living with two bands, my all styles band Crikey (with Sam Merlo and Nick Storr) and a hip hop outfit (with Sam and DJ Kevlar) called Selecta, bo! You will find us all over the waterfront in town or at Curly's on the odd Wednesday and if we ain't anywhere there we're probably at someones wedding, function or formal.
Other than that I play guitar in the band 17 HERTZ comprising of Dave Hughes singer from hell and shoe size to match, Sam Merlo dashing drummer of doom and bass playing beastie and composer extrordinaire Charles Longey. We do our own songs and play live whenever we can find the time but mostly we write and record, for now;)
I also record music with and for lots of people. I have recently completed a full length album for my own band 17 HERTZ and an EP for local arse-kickers LAKODA plus I've also recorded a full length album for local metallers ROADKILL , a 12 track live album for amazing flamenco guitarist Paul Gerard and a 3 track EP for Devonport dah-lings Lady Insane.
Currently in the studio is a goth-metal band known as Solar Thorn who are about to take the world over and upcoming projects include Ejecter, Ian Murtagh and Samuel Cole. Watch this space for more DAH-LINGS;)
