    Seventeen Sisters is comprised of the 5 Scarbrough sisters (yes they are real sisters), Sarah, Gracie, Angel, Faith, and Hannah. Along with David Urbanski and Trevis Overrocker on guitars, Chuck Applebee on bass, and Dave Wilson on drums (no they're not sisters). .. Seventeen Sisters started their musical adventures many years ago as small tykes, and have grown into what they are today. Combining strong female vocals and sibling harmonies, with driving solid rock instrumentals. .. Playing what they term "eclectic rock", they don't like to pigeonhole themselves with specific terms. Seventeen Sisters presents a new brand of rock, don't be fooled by these sisters, their rhythm section is right on and their guitars are soaring. Taking inspiration from bands such as Pearl Jam, Led Zep, RHCP, The Who, Metallica, Heart, U2, The Rolling Stones, etc, Seventeen Sisters is an infusion of edgy driving rock and soul. .. Seventeen Sisters is a force that will leaves you with a lasting impression and you'll be wanting more and more! .. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ .. We are very passionate about rock music because it gives us an opportunity to write and perform songs about subjects that we ourselves feel strongly about, along with our generation. Traditionally rock has always been about anger, rebellion, sex, and drugs. We believe people are becoming more socially aware, especially the younger generation, and are looking for more out of life. We are looking for things that are fulfilling. We want to be about rebellion, rebelling against status qous, poverty, hunger, social injustices, racial profiling, effects of war, etc. .. Because of modern technology we are able to not only communicate with people all over the world but also form close friendships. Which makes us much more aware of social issues, that not only effects us but the rest of the world thus giving us more of a world view.
