First, let me introduce you to Jack Ely, original vocalist of the Kingsmen, singing LOUIE LOUIE to one of his horses in 2003.
Next, here's a clip of Richard Berry, the man who wrote LOUIE LOUIE, performing live in 1988. This is a rather unique performance, as Richard is typically considered a rhythm and blues musician, often lumped into the DooWop category, but he's peforming with an instrumental surf band! The tempo of this performance is completely different from his original 1957 recording with the Pharaohs!
Producing TV is certainly a lot more fun than watching TV...

This is a story of both famous and obscure musicians that have personal histories with this iconic song. This is the story of the song that was investigated by the F.B.I. for supposedly obscene lyrics. This is the story of the song that inspired movements in the state of Washington and Oregon to declare it as an official rock song. The influence of this one little song is enormous.

We must get rid of our children IMMEDIATELY because we just know how time consuming our new little puppy is going to be and it just wouldn't be fair to the children. Since our little puppy will be arriving on Monday we MUST place the children up for adoption this weekend! They are described as: One male -- his name is Tommy, Caucasian (English/Irish mix), light blonde hair, blue eyes. Four years old. Excellent disposition. He doesn't bite. Temperament tested. Does have problems with peeing directly in the toilet. Has had chicken Pox and is current on all shots. Tonsils have already been removed. Tommy eats everything, is very clean, house trained and gets along well with others. Does not run with scissors and with a little training he should be able to read soon.
One female -- her name is Lexie, Caucasian (English/Irish mix), strawberry blonde hair, green eyes quite freckled. Two years old. Can be surly at times. Non-biter, thumb sucker. Has been temperament tested but needs a little attitude adjusting occasionally. She is current on all shots, tonsils out, and is very healthy and can be affectionate. Gets along well with other little girls and little boys but does not like to share her toys and therefore would do best in a one child household. We really do LOVE our children,and are doing what's right
there has been a SM reunion show back in 99' or so ..i had moved to Portland and was Honored to have East Bay Ray fill in , courtesy of Rico. As far as another one...who knows ?? everyone is so spread out it seems pretty unlikely.Some of us are up in Oregon..i'm in New Mexico. Well see !!
